X-Y Display Waveform

XYD Waveform

The purposes of this Waveform are:

  1. To check correct operation of the Display Generator in the X-Y mode.

  2. To check the Display Generator horizontal compensation.

  3. To check both the vertical and horizontal digital to analog conversion gain when using the X-Y mode.

Horizontal compensation may be made to eliminate overshoot or undershoot. Overshooting may be detected at points A, B, and C of the X-Y display pattern.
